Federal Alliance for Safe Homes(R) to Unveil New 'DIY' Hurricane Preparedness Toolkit at 2008 National Hurricane Conference

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The nonprofit Federal Alliance for Safe Homes, Inc. -- FLASH(R) is introducing a new consumer toolkit to help spark home preparedness activities before the 2008 hurricane season. The online kit is designed to overcome potential homeowner complacency following two years of lower-than-expected U.S. hurricane strikes by making preparation planning free, fast and even fun. The tools will be featured at the 2008 National Hurricane Conference during the week of March 31st.

The toolkit elements include an animated short video, a "Do It Yourself" (DIY) print publication and an interactive DIY home inspection available at http://www.flash.org/ .
